KRISTEN (Darwin)
Kristen first became interested in the moving body while studying acting at the University of Western Sydney (Nepean). But her discovery of yoga came much later in 1998 when a close friend took her to her first class. She has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga ever since. During this time she has developed a deep love and fascination for the practice.
Wanting to further her understanding of the Ashtanga Yoga System and to be able to pass on these ancient teachings, Kristen completed a 3-year teacher-training program. She continues to regularly attend workshops by overseas and local teachers and has traveled to Thailand and Mysore, India to study with "Guruji", Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
Kristen is constantly amazed by the changing nature of the yoga process and the little gems that are revealed each time.
NICOLE (Sydney)
It was during her diploma of theatre studies at WAAPA (Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts) in which Nicole’s interest in mind, body and movement began. Teaching regularly at a yoga studio in Bondi Junction, her classes range from beginners to advanced, pre-natal to kids as well as corporate yoga classes in Sydney.
